I serve as the Vertebrate Collections Manager at Arizona State University Natural History Collections, a part of the ASU Biodiversity Knowledge Integration Center (BioKIC). I oversee the care and maintenance of our fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals, ensuring that the specimens and their associated data are maintained to the highest standard of quality and accessibility for teaching, research, and outreach purposes.

I engage in research spanning lab and field activities and am passionate about engaging students and the public from backgrounds traditionally under-served by collections-based teaching and research activities. I am proud to cultivate a research and teaching environment where everyone is welcome and respected for the perspectives they bring.

I am always looking for volunteers who are interested in gaining lab skills and learning about vertebrate biodiversity to assist in the natural history collections. Send me an email!
